Students are allowed to wear a plain blue or burgundy scarf to school. Beanies of any description are not part of the school uniform. They can be worn on the way to and from school, but must come off before the student’s first class.
Black shoes are required as part of the school uniform. Leather shoes must be worn in technology and/or practical classes where safety is an issue. Students with incorrect footwear will not be able to participate in practical lessons.
Students may wear:
Watch
One plain sleeper or one small stud in each ear
One flat ring may be worn by students in Years 9 to 12
No rings to be worn by P-8 students
Clear nail polish only
Ribbons in school colours only
Facial and body piercings are not permitted and must be covered while at school
Socks must be either black or white and at least ankle length with no logos
School shorts should have no logos or patterns on them. For existing shorts with logos, the logo can either be removed or covered with the school logo.
Students may wear their jackets inside except in circumstances where they may be unsafe. Where possible, students will be informed prior to the lesson on those occasions.
The polar fleece jumper is for students in Foundation to Year 4 only, although in some circumstances, students may be able to wear them in Year 5/6
While we encourage every student to be in correct uniform every day, we understand the challenges that can present with younger students. On occasions where younger students (F-4) are out of uniform, consequences will be limited, but we may follow up with a phone call for support if it is an on-going issue.
Send in students with a note explaining the situation and a time when students could be expected to be in uniform.
Please contact the school if you have any uniform concerns. We can support with:
- accessing our suppliers in Mildura or Swan Hill
- applying for funding to help pay for the costs of uniform
- finding items through our donated 2nd hand stored items
